Accommodations in Jerusalem For great accommodations in the Old City, I highly recommend my dear friend Esther Weiss in the heart of the Jewish Quarter. Her apartment can easily accommodate 1-4 people and her prices are very reasonable. Recently my son, a friend, and I stayed in one of her apartments. Esther did everything possible to make our stay a very unique and delightful experience! If you are looking for a unique place to stay for a few nights you might want to check out Shirat Hayam Boutique hotel. They have a excellent accommodations, a friendly staff, and a great breakfast! If you like something a little more secluded you might want to rent a room at the Cohen House on Dona Gracia St. which is just a short distance from the boardwalk. Ahuva is a very kind and gracious person. Her number is 04-6721608. If you are looking for a more long term stay I suggest that you check out the one or two bedroom apartments above the Masbir in downtown Tiberias. The apartments are nice and reasonable priced. The Ring If you plan to visit Jerusalem don’t miss the opportunity to stop by the Ring and meet my long time friends Bob and Hannah. They have been making handcrafted jewelry for over 30 years. I especially love the variety of Bible verses engraved on their rings.
